What a big baby I am hauling around. It makes me wonder how big he will be when he is born. My Dr. says he should be aroun 7!/2, but I am begining to wonder. He is really long. I feel him in my ribs and down by my hips. It is weird.

I hope every one had a merry Christmas. We had a very nice time. Dan and I went to Christmas Eve service at Apex, and came home and had a nice dinner together. I made my Grandma Baker's chicken. It was good. Christmas day the Garman crew all came over and we had a big meal, opened presents watched movies, and rested. David stayed all day yesterday and a bit today which was fun. We went to the mall and then rented some movies and hung out. Today Dan had to return to work, and I had to get the house put back together. I need to take down the tree tonight. It just is so sad when it is time to take it down. I do need to get to work I have a few more chores to finish before I need to start dinner. Have a great day.

We have started all our Christmas events. Celia caught sight of her present and felt she should get it today. We tried to hold out til tomorrow, but you tell a dog that she has to wait til Christmas for her bone. She was just standing in the kitchen barking at the top of the fridge till we gave in. Now she is one happy girl. Bayley also got a rawhide, but he is smart enough to know not to attempt eating it in front of Celia or leave it unattended because then she will claim it and never give it back. So Bayley has taken up residence under our chair and refuses to come out.

We have our new table all set up and ready to go for tomorrow's dinner. (Thanks mom and dad!) Dan is really excited about it. He wouldn't let me put a table cloth on it because "it is just so pretty."

Tonight we are attending our church's Christmas eve service and then coming home to have a nice dinner and decorate some cookies and watch a Christmas movie. I think we will watch a Muppet Christmas Carol. We'll see.

I hope everyone has a merry Christmas. Remeber the true reason for the season is Christ's birth. Enjoy any gifts Santa may leave you also. God bless.

What a busy time of year. We have been trying to get ready for Christmas. We've been wrapping presents, making cookies, visiting with friends, and getting the house ready for company. We are excited to have Dan's family in for Christmas. Christmas is my favorite holiday. I can't wait until the baby is here and we can celebrate with him.

Speaking of the little guy he is very active. He is starting to push on my belly and I can feel his little limbs. It is so cool! I'm not sure what it is (arm or leg or foot or whatever) that I am feeling, but I can almost grab his little body parts they poke out so much.

We are getting our new table today. My parents bought us a new table and chair set. I am so ready to not have folding chairs in our dining room anymore. Plus we were able to get a dresser for the baby. I love organizing the nursery. I have gone through all his clothes like a hundred times. I can't wait for him to be here and dress him up.

Any way that is all that is going on in our life, busy but not too exciting. Happy first day of winter.

I have been wasting so much time lately on this computer. I have so many more things to do. I haven't even gotten Christmas cards out. I have presents to wrap and a house to clean and here I am blabbering on about it. The great news is though that Sara had her baby. He is a healthy big baby boy. He was 9lbs 3oz. Those of you who know Sara know she is not a big girl, and she did it natural folks. No drugs. I'm so proud of her and Brayden is such a gorgeous baby. So congrats to Sara and Bryan. I'm so excited for you!

I had a Dr. appt. yesterday and all is going well. Our baby boy has a strong heart beat and an even stronger kick. Dan is very pleased that this kid will more than likely be a soccer player. He has hit an all new high of activity this week. He goes all day long with out rest. It makes me wonder if he will take after my sleep habits. My mom said I didn't sleep at all like the first year of my life. Problem is I don't have a grandma close by to call and ask to take the kid so I can get some sleep. Oh well, I know lots of people who have survived infancy. :)

That is about all that is exciting in our world. We have had a busy week with friends (and the week is just starting). Dan wants to get as much socializing in before we have a kid and are a bit more limited. Anyway hope all is well with everyone. I need to go clean the kitchen and switch some laundry. Peace out.

We got a new digital camera for Christmas from Dan's parents. Dan has been playing with it. Max decided to pose for him.

We toured one of the local hospitals today. We have one other to check out before we decide. I'm so excited, but I'm nervous. The labor and delivery room is super big. there is a flat screen TV and a VCR in the labor room. Which causes me to ask who watches movies while giving birth? I guess you have to pass the time some how, and maybe lamaze isn't most people's idea of a great time. It was just interesting to me. But anyway. It is a nice hospital, and that will probably be where we end up having the baby.

Daniel went to the hardware store yesterday and picked up the screws to finish putting together the crib. We saw you can get a new mattress at once upon a child for less than half the price. I think we may do that. I am ready to set up the nursery and have everything ready to go. I can't wait for the baby to get here. I know I have a lot of preparation yet to go, but I can't wait to see what he looks like and I want to hold him and bring our family home.
