Isaac was supposed to be napping, but this is what was really happening.

Ah Trick or treating...our neighborhood did beggar's night last night. Asher was a sweet pea and Isaac was blue from blue's clues( who apparently is a female not a boy). Isaac didn't want to wear his outfit at first, then he didn't want his picture taken, then he got ahold of my phone which finally made him happy. Once we got outside he wanted to go in the car. When we finally went to our first house though, and he saw what happens he started enjoying himself. He will be disappointed the next time we go on a walk and no one gives him candy

Our friends Dave and Liz got married this weekend. We all had a blast. Isaac was great fun to watch. Make sure you check out the video. Asher was pretty sleepy and slept through most of the dancing. Maybe next time there is a wedding he'll be out cutting a rug with his brother.

We had a very nice time at the Heapy picnic at Young's Dairy. Isaac played some putt putt (kind of). Asher took a nap. We all found the perfect pumpkin. Isaac had a grand time with the goats. We rode a tractor. All fun things.

So life has been a bit crazy, but we are loving every minute of it.

We've been lucky to have both our moms, Dan's dad, Beka, and Tim come see Asher. Also, my grandma, Aunt Nancy and Nancy Beth came down to see us. Isaac was excited his cousin Matthew came down. They are good friends.

Well lots to report in the last month. We have a new baby boy. He is very sweet and we love him very much. Asher was born on Sept. 19. He was 7lbs 8 ozs on 20.5 in long. We are now going on three weeks. He is getting bigger by the day. He is a good eater, and a decent sleeper. He sleeps at least 3 hours a night which isn't bad in this mommy's opinion. Isaac is a bit tempermental, but he loves his brother. He gets very excited to hold him and kiss him. He just has to learn that Asher isn't ready to wrestle him yet.
